Hey Everybody! It is the start of a new school year and I thought that, with one or two of you new readers, it would be the perfect time to share a little bit about myself.
I’m Bethany! I am a first grade teacher in beautiful Utah and I am on my seventh year of teaching. I can hardly believe it has been that long! I feel like every single day I am still learning something new and finding ways to be a better teacher. I love education and I love the sweet students that are entrusted to me each year.
Six years ago I married my high school sweetheart, James, and he is an artist/illustrator who works from his studio in our home. You can check out his stuff here. We have the sweetest little boy, Halvor, who is our entire world! I am always so excited at the end of the school day when I can go home and play with my little guy! He is everything!
In my spare time I love hanging out with my family, building towers with my baby boy, reading, hiking, baking, quilting, playing the piano, watching movies, or just doing whatever I want!
